Leitrim tornado

TORRO are aware of reports of significant damage in parts of Leitrim village (Co Leitrim) due to a tornado during the midday period on Sunday 10th December 2023, in advance of Storm Fergus. Multiple videos posted on social media confirm the presence of a tornado in the area.

Due to limited member availability there are, unfortunately, no plans currently to carry out an in-person site investigation
