COMMENTS

November saw the start of the winter weather, with many places experiencing widespread ground and air frosts and even snow, with a school in Devon being cut off by heavy and widespread snowfall that affected much of the Western, Southwest and Central areas of the UK at the beginning of the month.

NB. During the 24th of November there appears to have been some six known whirlwinds that were either eddy whirlwinds or tornadoes on a severe gust front. These events took place in the Essex, Hertfordshire, Middlesex, Surrey and Kent areas. *
