In The News
Where to start? So many events reported during June and those are the events that we know
about. Worth mentioning is that during the 22nd of June there were many events, about
12-14 that are still being collated and may not be listed in the pages before. I can't
mention everything, so here's a taster of June:
- Ian Brindley conducted an investigation at the site of a TN report at Tipton near Dudley. Very thorough and includes some damage photographs. The event has been rated at T2 and I don't think we'd know this without Ian (and his wife Sarah) taking the time to venture out and look into the report a bit more. Thank you!
- The event at Ingham, Lincolnshire maybe the first report TORRO has collated that has made it onto YouTube thanks to TORRO member William Copeland.
- Have a look at the Hereford event photographs here (with another link to someone's YouTube posting of the event).
- The Peteborough FC is like nothing I've seen before in the UK. There are photographs taken by different people from different sides of the storm here. Spectacular!
- My home county of Norfolk has had its fair share of events also this month including Calthorpe and an event witnessed by lots of people, that occurred between Dereham and travelled East towards Norwich. Photographs here.
Finally;
The next issue heralds the arrival of the 'new look' newsletter that I hope everyone will
find interesting, including something REALLY good that I've never tried before. I say new
look; the format will appear familiar to most, if not all of you but I'm excited about a new
interactive feature. Watch this space!
