COMMENTS

The Templand TN was reported to TORRO via the online reporting tool by a resident of the area where it occurred. This spurred some detective work by some TORRO members after some discrepancy over the actual date of the event. Although it was reported to TORRO as occurring on the 22nd of February, the conditions on this day certainly seemed unlikely for TN development, but eventually a local newspaper where the report originated from confirmed the event date as 15th of February and weather radar for this date also backed this up (it has to be said that several TORRO members also thought it would be the 15th!).
