DISCUSSIONS
A sad start to the month when a 14 year old boy was killed by lightning on the 3rd of Aug. A reminder that none of us are immune from this threat whilst near thunderstorms. We also heard of a strange ball lightning event in Beckenham courtesy of Peter Van Doorn our ball lightning division director.

TORRO continues interaction with media managing a mention on the front cover of three major Scottish newspapers on one day

For better archiving can member choose to note GMT, BST or UTC with their reports. This has fundamental importance and can help separate to identical events.

Any omissions or errors please post directly to me and NOT this thread. Thankyou!
